MoodBrush Mobile Application
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
1. Ahancer Company Limited is committed to protecting your privacy. MoodBrush does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other information that identifies you. Your settings and brushing progress, such as your chosen mood, language, reminder times, and sound preferences, are stored only on your own device and are permanently removed when you uninstall the app.
2. To understand how our app is used, we use trusted tools like Google Analytics, Firebase, and RevenueCat. These tools may collect anonymized usage and performance data (e.g. crash reports, device info, feature usage, and purchase history). All data is securely transmitted and handled in accordance with our privacy commitments.
3. The free version of MoodBrush shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve these ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers and app usage data, and may use them to show you personalised advertising. Ads are not shown to users who have purchased the premium upgrade.
4. We never sell your data, and we do not share it with external companies other than the service providers described above. All analytics and purchase data is used solely to improve app functionality and provide support to our users.
5. Data retention. We keep data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above:
- Data stored on your device (mood, language, reminder times, sound settings, brushing count, premium status) is retained on your device only, for as long as the app is installed. We do not hold a copy of it on any server.
- Anonymised analytics and crash data held by Google Analytics for Firebase is retained for a maximum of 14 months and is then deleted automatically.
- Purchase records are tied to your Apple or Google store account, not to a MoodBrush account. We retain our copy in RevenueCat for as long as needed to honour your lifetime purchase and to meet accounting and tax obligations, and we will delete it on request as described in section 6. Apple and Google retain their own transaction records under their own retention schedules, which we do not control.
- Advertising identifiers processed by Google AdMob are retained under Google's own retention schedule, described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
6. Deleting your data. Because MoodBrush has no accounts, you are in direct control of your data:
- To delete everything the app stores about you on your device, uninstall MoodBrush. This permanently removes all of your settings and brushing history. On Android you can also use Settings → Apps → MoodBrush → Storage → Clear data.
- There is no request process for analytics and crash data, because there is nothing for us to look up. This data is anonymised and is never linked to your name, email address, or any account.
- Purchase records can be identified, because they are tied to your Apple or Google store account. To have yours deleted, email us at natt@ahancer.com with the subject line "MoodBrush data deletion request" and include your platform (iOS or Android) and the store receipt or order number. We will delete our copy of the record from RevenueCat and confirm within 30 days. Apple and Google keep their own record of the transaction under their respective privacy policies, and we have no ability to remove it.
- To reset the advertising identifier used for ads, use your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS). On Android you can also delete the advertising ID entirely, which stops future ad data being associated with your device.
7. We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the app or update the policy link in the app store. Continued use of the app after changes indicates your agreement to the new terms.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at natt@ahancer.com
